Don posed for this photo at the request of a photographer in El Paso, Texas who wanted to enter it in a photo contest. It must have been in the late 1960’s. Don had been doing some performing for some sort of educational filming and had devised this makeup for the film. The photographer saw it and liked it and then asked Don to pose for this shot.
