As you can see, loading up the boat was quite a chore. It would take many hours. Animals, performers & equipment had to go on the same boat. E.K. Fernandez was one of the nicest circus owner I have ever worked for….he was a true gentleman and showman.

Mr. Fernandez would take the circus from island to island and spend a week or more on each depending on the size of the island. Most of the performers were from the mainland or Mexico.
