This is a photo that I thought I would never see. This pretty lady is my Aunt Marie Henry she, the wife of Robert “Hap” Henry. Photo taken 1929 0r 1930. Hap was the third oldest of the Henry brothers. He and Marie had two sons, Michael and Richard. My uncle Hap was seriously injured by his elephant. [...]

Henry Bros. Circus 1975. Pictured here are Solon, Gabriel and Shorty. Shorty was our baby male elephant and these three “boys” got along very well. In 1976 Solon, my oldest boy was working Shorty. When Gabe was a little older his interest was with the baby chimps.
