This is a photo of Art Lind, Jr., Sells Floto back yard shot taken in 1929 in Fairbury, Neb. His father Art Lind. Sr, had a truck show. Lind Bros Circus was on the road in 1923 and 1924. I sure would like to have photos of Lind Bros circus. Perhaps one day.

Another heavily carved tableau called the Hippopotamus. You will notice this also has a band on top. The photo was shot on the same day, same parade by J. W. Beggs, 1910 Kansas City, Mo. First off, I wonder who they got to paper this 5 story building! On the back of the photo it reads, “Sells Floto- Buffalo Bill Circus, 1914. Minneapolis, Minnesota.” I wondered about the name but sure enough faintly seen on the papered building can be seen Buffalo Bill Circus. Maybe Bob Cline will comment on [...]
