My Dad, Cliff Henry, doing clown trapeze. He’s balancing on the trapeze bar, finishing the trick he’d fall backwards into an ankle drop. He would have to catch the chair at the same time. 1939, Henry Bros Circus. He continued doing this act on Cronin Bros Circus.

Cliff Henry doing “The Steps”. This is a very dangerous trick on the rolling globe. You can break your back very easily if you fall. This was done on the Yankee Patterson Show.

Mary Henry doing “Spinning Plates”. The unseen difficulty of this trick is that her head position is looking up rather than casting her eyes straight or down to keep her balance on the globe.
