Billy performing for some publicity shots. Doc Capell’s, Capell Bros Circus early 1940’s. This photo had to be taken in the mid-west. Doc did not come west until the late 40’s to a town called Coolidge, in Arizona. There the Capell family made their home and their winter quarters for over forty years.

Arumi Singh

  Arumi Singh was featured with the Wallace Bros Circus during the 1952 season. Singh came from India and in his first year in America he worked a large lion act. Ben C. Davenport was president and general manager of the show. It is said that he was also the sole owner of Wallace Bros.
