The Tex Ortons

Posted By on June 14, 2015

The-OrtonsTex and his family were on the 101 Wild West Show & Circus combined. 1945. We were on the show at that time also.  Jimmy Wood was the owner. It was a revised version of the original 101 in the early 1900’s. I am guessing it was on the road in 1908.  If you go on categories 101 Wild West Show there are many photos of the 101.

Knife Throwing Act

Posted By on June 14, 2015

Knife throwing act 1908 ioiI would guess that this act was featured on one of the Wild West type shows. The date most likely late 1800’s or early 1900’s. Their names are unknown to me.

All thanks given to Chuck Finley for the card and photo.
