This poster was from the Canadian national exhibition which is one of north americas biggest fairs and held annually on the cne fairgrounds the last 2 weeks of summer leading upto labour day since 1870’s. Hubert Castle international circus was only at the show 1970,71,72 and he sold the circus 1979 at age 69. Unfortunately Hubert passed away 10 years later in Florida at age 89 of Alzheimer’s. he was one of the best wire acts ever from my research and a legend of his time working for several circus under the memes Hal Smith,Hal Silvers, and finally Hubert Castle.
