Rain, rain all day ….no show so they took a picture of the cast. Yankee Patterson Circus. In the front row you will see Jimmy and Ruby Woods, the far left is Frank Chicarella and a little to the right is Konkie who played the steam calliope.

Photo of circus main entrance and side show, name of show is unknown to me. It may be Yankee Patterson 1943. Not the little dark trailer ticket wagon on the left. I seem to remember seeing it years later at our Venice, Calif. winter quarters.

Cliff Henry doing “The Steps”. This is a very dangerous trick on the rolling globe. You can break your back very easily if you fall. This was done on the Yankee Patterson Show.

The Landons were from Argentina and performed a great hand balancing act. Victor & I became friends….I thought he was a kid like myself because of his size. I spoke Spanish and English, I became his English teacher.
