Thanks Bob for your comment. You are right, this photo is hand tinted. Before color film was invented many professional pictures were hand painted after there development. Each picture was done separate. Then later the photograph was made into a master in which other could be printed from it. I am guessing that this photo was taken in the early 1930’s.

What a beautiful photograph. I believe this was referred to as being hand tinted.
This pic is before 1918 as Jenny and Bessie were killed in the train wreck of 1918.
