Bertha’s Dog Act

Posted By on September 1, 2018

After Al Conner, Bertha’s husband  passed away, Dad and I went to visit Bertha in Gainesville, Texas. That time of the year fall you could feel a chill in the air. Bertha my father’s sister still had her dog act even though it was few and far between booking. There were dogs every where in her the house. Bertha said when it gets cold that the dogs were better off in the house than outside in the kennel. Dad noticed that there was only a small electric heater and was concerned, with that he asked. What do you do when you go to bed at night and it get to cold. Bertha looked up and said with a laugh. Hell I just throw another dog on. Dad and I roared with laughter.

True Jackpot.

I need to make an adjustment on upper article. It says Al Henry, wrong it is Al Conner. Also Jay E. Henry, it should be James Edward Henry.
