Don Philips & Co. #2

Posted By on August 24, 2011

As I post these different pictures of performers, I am totally astounded by how many fine acts there were in the years past. I sometimes stop and look around my office and I see box upon box filled with show biz photos and wonder if I will ever complete this task of posting and writing their stories. I am so thankful that I have a friend who helps me with this tiger that I have by the tail…………… Thanks Miss M.

Thanks Lee for your comment. Also thanks for your comment Bill Gowan.

What can I say about Don, He was a true and wonderful friend, I miss him and think of him often, And he was the only guy I know who could open the refrigerator door and do a ten minute act when the light came on !! Miss you friend… Lee

Thanks, Lee – After all this time I am surprised by how often someone will tell me how much they miss Don. It’s good to hear! Carol

And in the center of the “wheel” would be Bonnie (Don’s Mother) one of my favorite people in the entire world. Don called me to let me know Bonnie had passed away.
