Olga Celest

Olga Celest was known as “The Leopard Woman”. Most of Olga’s training and performing took place at the Los Angeles Zoo in the 1920’s and 1930’s. She also trained a few animals for motion pictures. Her lead leopard seen here is ” Big Otto”. This photo was taken at the zoo arena which was a permanent stage and a holding area for the cats.
