Capell Bros Shows

This is an actual peanut bag, I scanned it for you, only because it is only one of it’s kind and it may bring back old memories. These bags were used by the Capell show in the late 1950’s and 1960’s. The cost of a bag of peanuts then was about 25 cents.

I travelled with the Capell Brothers in 1971 and 1972. Mamie Capell was still alive in 1971. She was one of a kind. I worked in a Bear Wheel the first year and then switched to a short-range shooting gallery. Working for Jim O’Malley who was with the show. We cut a lot of jackpots in those days.
