Photo taken in 1950. Heavy weight boxer Joe Louis was a feature attraction on the Dailey Bros Circus. This was his private coach while on the show.

My dad is 90 yrs and he has thrilled us with stories from his early years in the circus. He was the trick and fancy horse rider that actually taught Joe Louis how to ride the horse, Lipstick, when Mr. Louis was hired on the Daily Brother’s Circus around 1950.
