Is this Karl & Hans?
I think this is one of last years that Carl an John (Hans) worked together. In 1971 or 72 Carl had Winn’s High Wire Show and John created “Europarama”. I did Johns winter tour, which was an indoor variety show.in ’73’ and his outdoor High Wire show in 1974 as Sheriff Jeepers. A Clause in my contract said ‘Generally Helpful’, which was defined as Set-Up, Props. and Slough (Strike It) and I drove the Show Truck pulling the Concession Trailer. That was the year I learned that with Circus not all the work is in the Ring.
In the 1970’s in medford,or ,I built the high wire tower for the europarama circus. I also built the balance pole and high wire bicycle. I made a second high wire tower several years later to save weight. both towers were made of aluminum tubing and stood 48 feet tall. they included the anchor base and platform on top . I saw the show performed at Grants Pass,OR
