    Ivan,
    This is referred to as a cottage cage with the non-typical roof design so titled as a house or cottage roof line might be. The cage has been seen in a 1904 photo on the Walter L. Main Circus. I haven’t figured out the connection of how Barnes got this from Main or who it all went through before Barnes got it. We also don’t know when Barnes got rid of it either.
