Photo taken at the fair grounds in Ellensburg, Washington. Both hands were filled with corn on the cob and delicious old fashioned fair food. The Henry family had the circus on the back of Ralph Meeker’s show. Paul Meeker, his son, sent me this picture. Paul and I continue to be good friends even thou we have not seen each other in 50 years, That’s show business.

I am looking for information about the Meeker’s Shows that came to Pendleton, Oregon, in the 50s for. details to relay to my grandchildren.
I remember the train offloading elephants and cats, but I don’t remember the concessions the carnival rides, or the. circus acts.
Any references would be most helpful! Thanks for your historical photos.
