My Dad (Ray Chandler) Painted Johnny’s Trucks there in Thousand Oaks.
The picture of Sandy reminded me of the year I lived in Westlake Village (Thousand Oaks adjacent) and my school bus making a stop to pick her up in front of the Taco Bell. We were in the same 6th grade class. Having just moved there from the city I was so intrigued by the circus vehicles that were visible from Thousand Oaks Blvd., and couldn’t imagine what it would be like to be part of a circus family! I was too shy to ask her.
