There has always been a deep love within me for elephants. I never met an elephant I did not like. I know there have been a few tough ones that went rank on their grooms or trainers but this has to be excepted with any animal. Overall, elephants are loyal and they take pleasure in doing their best for you. I have seen elephants let a first of May groom think he knew what his was doing while handling them. I remember Buckles said to me long ago, elephants just tolerate. I truly believe that elephants are man’s second best friend….dating all the way back to Hanabal.
