Ringling Bros Barnum   Bailey  1932  Trucks on flat cars Posted 1of 13Before unloading the trucks are tested to make sure that they will start. Sometimes they were primed with gas to start and warm up. On a long trip the fuel could evaporate.  1932.

Great info on these two trucks. Thanks Bob for researching out the information with Steve Flint. A great comment.

    Ivan,
    I talked with my good friend and Ringling historian, Steve Flint, last night about this photo. The Mack truck in the center is followed by one of the Pierce Arrow Trucks. Thus the difference in appearance.
