Clown Alley

Posted By on March 2, 2017

Clown as an Indian. His name unknown to me. Most likely this gag was a walk-around. For those who do not know what a “walk-around is”. Each clown on the show had their own individual wardrobe skit. All would walk in line around the hippodrome. This would allow time for the prop crew to set up for a large three ring display or rigging aerial acts. This was a much needed time killer while the audience was amused by the funny antics. Makes me think of Lou Jacobs, his walk around was hilarious.

In my opinion, Lou had some of the most creative walk-arounds of all times…especially those motorized gags.
