This is first for me. I never saw Gene in clown cop makeup. When we were with Polack Bros, Gene as I called him, was a tramp clown and I will ad very fumy at that. Gene was a great help to me with comedy ideas concerning my routines with Bongie one of our chimps. He just saw things that others didn’t and would say why not try this in your routine. It always worked, To this day I thank him.

I never knew Gene as a cop clown only as the great Tramp he was in the years i knew him with Harold Simmons.
