Kimris Duo on the Arial Trapeze

I never saw their outdoor act but from these photos it must have been spectacular.  Their indoor act which I did see was a very powerful act. The name of the trick in this photo is a “back angel.” One a still trapeze, it is a relatively simple trick but when you are moving on a high rigging, outdoors with the wind blowing…this trick is very difficult and can be very dangerous.

    Once in Detroit I had the airplane on the ground getting it ready for the next show, & a guy & his son came down from the seats, and asked if he could measure the rigging, of course you know what my first thought was. He then explained that he had timed our revolution, and by knowing the radiuis of the crossbar he could calculate our approx. speed, he cams up with 35 mph.
