THEY CAN SAY ALL THEY WANT ABOUT ALL OF THE GREAT CAT ACTS, & I AGREE,,,,BUT IN THE CAGE, THIS WAS MY HERO!!!!
Thank you so much….wish I could turn back the clock and relive my childhood
Hey Melia,
Just looking thru Internet putting in dad’s name and found you and him….The Circus has changed alot through the years. I am thankful for the memories.
My favorite Uncle. I will remember him always. Visited his and Toni Ann’s gravesite a few years ago. Heartbreaking.
Dear Ivan: I forgot to send you this link before. This is Gunther with Maharani the white tiger cub purchased from Baron Julius Von Uhl in 1976.:

Do you have any pictures of Pat Anthony’s white tigers at Jungleland in Thousand Oaks in the early 1970s? I wish I knew how much Ringling paid for this white tiger cub. She must have been worth at least $45,000 at the time. Siegfried & Roy paid the Cincinnati Zoo $60,000 for each white tiger, but later the zoo gave them an extra pair of white tigers free of charge in exchange for the promise of a share of their cubs. Siegfried & Roy are on the Borad od Directors of the Cincinnati Zoo. There’s a large German community in Cincinnati so I’m guessing Siegfried & Roy felt at home there.
