Just when you think you have seen it all!  Rudy Mueller was on the Siebrand circus for a short time I believe it was the season  of 1950, Before him there were the Miller Elephants. The Siebrands …Pete and Hike both said a circus is not complete with out elephants….. I agree…. This photo was taken at Rudy’s home in the late 1940’s.

    My Dad (Ray Chandler) bought a baby elephant from Rudy Mueller. Her name was Princess My dad sold her to Johnny Cline. When Johnny passed away Princess, Dell and Molly went to Brazil.

    Im david the son of lion trainer/breaker floyd humeston “fearless fagan” the lion and MGM logo from 1950 to present.Our family were life long friends of anna & rudy mueller and i knew them well when i was young as my grandmother lived with the muellers in their senior years in thousand oaks,ca.Is anyone left from that time?…..

    My family lived across the street in Thousand Oaks from Rudy and Anna back in the 40s-50s. They were so nice and we enjoyed seeing the elephant when Rudy was not out on the circus circuit. I don’t know what prompted me to think about them and so pleased that I actually found them on the internet. It is not oftern you can say you lived across the street from wild animals 🙂 I remember all the pug dogs chasing us when we rode by on our bicycles. My dad would take watermelon rines over for the animals to eat.
