I think it was one of our birthdays. It really didn’t take much for us to get together. Any excuse would do. There was always “jack pots” to go over. Photo taken 2005. Bill Capell, Ivan Henry and Jimmy Carter.

I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your site. I remember you, Bill and Dorothy. What a trip down memory lane! I was not around for the circus days, but Bob Keasey and Sam Lambrose taught me how to spin floss and dip apples. I worked in the park in the winter and couldn’t wait until we would start getting ready to go out. I also worked at Tags one winter.
I remember “Stompin” Wayne Williams, Whitey and Little Bit, Joe Wallace, and Ella (she had 3 little Chihuahuas…peanuts, popcorn and candy). I loved that old woman…what a sweetheart. I’m sure if I drag out the old photo albums…I could remember more! I have often wondered what happened to all those folks. I kept in touch with Bob and Sam until 2001 or so…then the Christmas cards started coming back. Sad.
I plan on looking at all your wonderful photos…the last 2 hours spent here have been great! Thank you for sharing this amazing collection of show biz history!
