The Quackenbushes

Ma had a talent for taking a non-funny joke that all in the audience knew and disliked ….and in her unique way she could twist it into her own. It became hilarious, of coarse Pa was the brunt of it.  They could do a complete show all by themselves.

Ma and Pa Quackenbush

Ma and Pa were master musicians and between the two they could play over fourteen instruments and every show they brought the house down. We worked with them for two seasons during the 1950’s and sadly…we have lost touch.  I often think of them and the good times we had.
